Shelton Laster
Shelton (*1942) was a member of the musical groups "Dream Tones" and "Unity", and performed throughout the country with famous singers such as James Brown, The Flamingos, The Staples Singers, and Johnny Mathis. He was best known for the double-record recording with the late jazz guitarist Grant Green "Live at the Lighthouse" on Blue Note. He worked with Junior Walker, James Brown, Johnny Mathis and Taj Mahal. Shelton passed away on 17 December 2004 in Springfield/MA.
