(Vladimir Khomyakov)
Vladimir Khomyakov was born in 1960 in Москва (Moscow). He studied the piano with Prof. Ludmilla Ginzburg and the organ Valerij Rubacha at the Odessa State Conservatoire (Ukraina) from 1974 till 1984. He achieved the soloist diploma and the teaching certificate in 1984.
 
Between 1988 and 1997, Vladimir attended several master classes for classical organ music, as of Piet Kee, Harald Vogel, Hans Fagius, David Sanger, Ludger Lohmann, Jon Laukvik, Guy Bovet, and Peter Planyavsky.
 
Since 1987, he is the organist of the Chelyabinsk State Philharmonic Society. Since 1992, he is also the artistic director of the Cheljabinsk Organ Festival. In 1997, he awarded the title "Honored Artist of Russian Federation" from president Boris Jelzin. In 2001, he won the first prize at the contest for Jazz on the Church Organ.
 
Vladimir toured around the former USSR, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Finland. He is working in several musical projects together with famous soloists, choirs and noted orchestras.
