Krzysztof SadowskiSadowski (* 1936) found his way to the jazz as pianist at the age of 21. In the early 60's he worked together with Zbigniew Namyslowski, Jan Wróblewski, Andrzej Kurylewicz and Jerzy Matuszkiewicz. In 1963 he formed his own group Bossa Nova Combo. Concerts took him to the USSR and Scandinavia.
It was in 1967 that the Hammond organ took his full attention, influenced by the music of Jimmy Smith. He reorganized his group and called it the Organ Group. Pop singer Liliana Urbanska, his wife, accompanied him on many tours.
