Eddy Louiss
Eddy Louiss' roots lie in the Carribean Sea; his father, the trumpet player Pierre Louise, came from Martinique. Born 1941 in Paris, Eddy was predestined for a life with music. In his early youth he played the piano, the vibes and the trumpet. Later he attended the Conservatoire, also toured with the Double Six and performed in clubs.

In the 1960s his love to the Hammond broke through. The following years, Eddy played together with famous men like Art Taylor, Stan Getz, and Jean-Luc Ponty. Later, in the 80s, he founded his own big band the Multicolor Feeling.

Eddy passed away on 30 June 2015 in Poitiers/France.
